Portage Parks launches remote education programs

In response to a need for social distancing, Portage Park District launched its remote education programming this week. The programs will be available in a variety of formats to allow participation for all age levels. Weekly walks with Jen, education program coordinator, list of top activities at park locations, podcasts, slideshows and more. Remote education materials will be posted weekly on our Facebook page and link back to a collection of resources on our website here. 

Park users are encouraged to participate in programs by: 

• Facebook posts and polls
• Ask a naturalist
• Email photos and quick videos documenting a park visit
