The Portage County Auto Title Department is responsible for assisting the public over the counter and on the telephone. The department is also responsible for filing and recording liens on titles and issuing memorandum or duplicate titles on titled vehicles. It maintains titled vehicle records, notarizes title documents, conducts title searches and cancels liens that have been satisfied.
