Notice to Residents of Sanitary Sewer Maintenance and Improvement Project.
Starting the week of November 28th, 2022, Portage County Water Resources will be starting a sewer maintenance project for sewer lines within the public right-of-way in the Bolingbrook Allotment. This is a (180) day project consisting of jet cleaning, CCTV and Joint testing and grouting of sanitary pipe joints.
The majority of the project will use one or two trucks with specialized equipment that you may see working on the side of the road with little or no impact to the residences. We will also be installing approximately (100) sanitary clean outs placed at the right-of-way. The pipe for the clean outs will be buried below grade and restoration of yards for these locations will take place conditions permitting in the spring. Clean outs will be installed on the Right-of Way on the North sides of Hadley St., Greenwich St., Fairfax St., Notle St., Deer St., Field St., Elton St., Fairfax St., Stanwich St., Shadley St., and Invernest St. and West side of Wellington Rd. Portage County Water Resources will be providing contract administration and on-site inspection for this project.
