Manufacturing Internship Program
Get paid to learn new skills at no cost
OhioMeansJobs Portage County partners with local manufacturers and Kent State University Tuscarawas to offer the manufacturing internship program. It's available to qualified Portage County residents at no charge. Students who participate in the 10-week program spend two days each week in class at the OhioMeansJobs Center, 253 S. Chestnut Street in Ravenna and three days a week at a paid position at a local manufacturer. Transportation assistance is available.
