Year of the Wood Frog!
This year the Wild Hikes Challenge is the Year of the Wood frog. You’ll notice a frog symbol on several hikes - this denotes areas that include Wood frog habitat. On those hikes we’ve also included a Wood frog fact to help you learn more about this year’s special species. Complete 8 of these trails to earn rewards!

- Check out our THINGS TO DO page for in-person Wild Hikes Challenge form turn-in options. We have a variety of dates and times set up in our parks for you to turn in your form and get your rewards.

Our Foundation makes it possible to provide the Wild Hikes Challenge rewards. Many of our hiking staffs are hand-hewn by Hiram Farm staff in Hiram Township or supplied by Camp Asbury and hewn by Portage Park District volunteers.
