Gardening in January? Yes, you read that correctly! Winter is a great time to plan and even do some planting for a garden designed to attract native pollinators such as bees, butterflies, and birds. Join Portage Park District Volunteer and Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist, Denny Reiser, as he shares his experience with creating a pocket garden using plants that benefit our Portage County ecosystems, and why utilizing these native plants is so important- no matter how large or small your garden is.

*Rain date for this event will still be held on January 19th at 6:00pm: registrants will be emailed a Zoom link if weather does not permit an in-person gathering.
