Vernal pools are unique and important wetlands that are necessary habitats for our local salamanders, frogs, and other creatures. With increasing temperatures, all forms of life are starting to emerge and become more active. We will be gently sampling the pools at Dix Park and you will be surprised and amazed at the life below the surface!
