Every year, the Cornell Lab of Ornithology hosts the Great Backyard Bird Count, a global event aimed at documenting all of the bird species that are observed. In as little as fifteen minutes, you can contribute to a global science initiative. Just observe, identify, and count the birds you see in your backyard or at your favorite place in Portage Park District. We hope to see you on the trails!
